This role will oversee fund operations from end to end and serve as a key partner to senior leadership as the platform continues to scale.Responsibilities* Own fund accounting, NAVs, capital activity, and financial reporting for PE and private credit vehicles* Set and execute the fund accounting strategy across private equity and private credit vehicles* Provide senior oversight of NAVs, capital activity, valuations, and financial reporting* Lead, develop, and mentor a team of approximately 10 fund accounting professionals* Serve as the primary executive contact for fund administrators, auditors, and external advisors* Partner with investment, tax, treasury, and compliance teams on fund launches, restructurings, and complex transactions* Drive process improvement, automation, and institutional best practices as the firm scalesQualifications* 15-20 years of fund accounting experience within private equity and/or private credit* Strong understanding of partnership accounting, valuations, and complex fund structures* Proven experience leading and scaling teams; experience managing third-party administrators* Background at a top-tier investment manager, fund administrator, or public accounting firm preferredThis is a high-impact leadership role with strong visibility to senior management at a growing Chicago-based private markets platform.
