Duties

Under the direction and guidance of the Maintenance Director, the maintenance technician performs routine maintenance duties and other related tasks when assigned.

Assist the Maintenance Director with completion of service requests, make ready, pool and grounds care, and preventive maintenance.

Perform on-call after hours service on a scheduled rotation, handle emergency service requests and work a full Saturday scheduled rotation with the other service team members.

Assist with maintaining up-to-date parts, tools and equipment inventories, maintenance logs and records, employee schedules, warranty lists, etc.

Ensure positive resident relations by responding to requests in a friendly, professional manner and within the designated time frame.

Maintain a strong emphasis on customer service and help instill this value in co-workers.

Maintain a safe work environment at all times and perform duties following all Federal, State and Flournoy safety policy and procedures.

Assist Maintenance Director in other duties as assigned/directed.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.

Incumbents must have EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling. (Applies to Certified Service Technicians.)

Incumbents must have all certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions. (Applies to all Service Technicians.)

A current valid driver’s license is required.
