We are partnered with a respected construction company in the San Antonio market seeking an experienced
Construction Project Manager
to lead
commercial construction projects
from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for a proven commercial PM who understands the full project lifecycle and can manage budgets, schedules, and stakeholder relationships on complex builds. Key Responsibilities
Manage
commercial construction projects
from preconstruction through completion Develop and maintain project budgets, cost tracking, and financial forecasting Lead subcontractor buyout, contract negotiations, and scope coordination Build and manage project schedules in collaboration with field leadership Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and consultants Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications Partner closely with Superintendents to ensure successful field execution Identify project risks early and implement proactive solutions Lead project meetings and ensure clear communication across all stakeholders Manage project closeout and turnover documentation Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager on commercial projects Proven experience managing
commercial construction
(ground-up and/or complex renovations) Background across commercial sectors such as: Office Retail Healthcare Hospitality Industrial Education Strong understanding of construction contracts, budgets, and scheduling Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Experience with construction management software preferred
