Housekeeping/Laundry Aide

Parkhouse Rehabilitation & Nursing Center - Royersford, PA
Rate:
$14.00/hour
Status:
Full-Time and Part-Time; Alternating Weekends & Holidays Required
Job Summary:
Are you reliable, detail-oriented, and take pride in keeping things clean and organized? Join our dedicated team as a Housekeeping/Laundry Aide and help us provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
What You’ll Do:
Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily (dusting, mopping, sanitizing, etc.), while respecting resident privacy and preferences.
Safely dispose of trash, including bio-hazardous materials, following all facility policies.
Handle and store cleaning chemicals and supplies properly, following safety guidelines.
Complete personal laundry services for residents, including labeling and tracking clothing.
Support the Director of Facility Operations with inspection readiness and attend required training sessions.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Able to read, understand, and follow verbal/written directions in English.
Ability to interact professionally and respectfully with residents, staff, and visitors.
Physically able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
Prior experience in housekeeping or laundry in a healthcare or institutional setting preferred.
