R36628The Substance Abuse Case Manager provides monitoring services for the Health Practitioners’ Monitoring Program (HPMP) for participant adherence to their individualized monitoring contract.
The Substance Abuse Case Manager manages all aspects of participant progress through the program including development and implementation of monitoring contracts, ongoing monitoring adherence to contract, and administrative documentation of all aspects of program progress.**Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire:**
Licensed Professional Counselor or Certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor preferred
**Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment:** N/A
**Experience REQUIRED:**
Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in chemical dependence treatment and/or mental health treatment
**Experience PREFERRED**: N/A
**Education/training REQUIRED:**
Bachelors Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology or related field from an accredited program
**Education/training PREFERRED:** N/A
**Independent action(s) required:**
Routine interactions with participants, HPMP staff, and Department of Health Professions’ staff.
Supervises the daily assignments of the Case Management Assistants.
**Supervisory responsibilities (if applicable)**: N/A
