Key Responsibilities
Educate, precept, and provide training for orienting Clinical Coordinators.
Maintain accurate and organized filing systems and patient medical records.
Serve as a resource regarding available health, social services, and other care resources for patients, caregivers, employees, and providers.
Receive and review incoming and outgoing patient information correspondence and determine proper action.
Communicate with patients and families, including answering program telephones, triaging patient needs, and relaying this information to providers in a timely manner.
Accept patient and/or family complaints and work to resolve them in accordance with policy.
Provide ongoing education and training to other Clinical Coordinators.
Provide back‑up assistance for other clerical positions and perform routine office support duties.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
At least 1 year of experience working as a Clinical Coordinator.
At least 1 year of experience in the medical field, medical office, or related position.
Strong understanding of medical terminology.
Complete required work daily.
Ability to cope with work involving ill, disabled, and terminal patients.
Problem‑solving skills.li>
Excellent observation, verbal, and written communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
Associate degree.
Management experience in a clinic or healthcare setting.
Location
Office Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Hours
Office Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
Pay Range: $40,000 – $45,000 USD.
