Job Summary And Responsibilities
In this role as a Physical Therapist (PT), you will be responsible for a continuum of services providing care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and other physically-related disorders requiring mobility training, strengthening, modalities, specialized manual therapy, and neuromuscular reeducation. As a Physical Therapist, you will also utilize the rehab process to promote and restore the optimal health and well‑being of the patient. While in this position, you will assume personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.
Job Requirements
Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit preferred
Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, preferred
Current Colorado state licensure as a Physical Therapist required
BLS through the American Heart Association required
Dry Needling Certification or Education preferred
Physical Requirements Exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.
Location and Work Settings At our Fort Morgan location, this full‑time physical therapy position comes with comprehensive benefits. The available shifts are variable with options of 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, five 8‑hour days or four days a week. In order to cover inpatient evaluations, we do need a weekend rotation. New graduates can be trained by us. Eighty percent of our patients are adult orthopaedic outpatients, and twenty percent are neuro inpatient acute care patients.
Where You’ll Work St. Elizabeth Hospital, located in Fort Morgan, Colorado, is a Level 3 Trauma Center and an American College of Cardiology Accredited Chest Pain Center serving northeastern Colorado. Providing care throughout the region, St. Elizabeth Hospital provides cardiology, maternal, emergency, surgical, pediatrics, and acute care inpatient services in addition to the multitude of subspecialists in its specialty clinic. With 50 beds, St. Elizabeth is the region’s referral center. Since 1952, St. Elizabeth has been serving the community in Morgan County, which is one of the most diverse counties in Colorado and speaks more than 28 languages.
Pay Range $33.43 - $52.23 per hour

Relocation Assistance Depending on your location, you may be eligible for up to $8,000 in relocation assistance.
