Job Summary & Responsibilities In this role as a Physical Therapist (PT), you will be responsible for a continuum of services providing care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic and other physically-related disorders requiring mobility training, strengthening, modalities, specialized manual therapy and neuromuscular reeducation. You will also utilize the rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of the patient. While in this position you will assume personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.
Physical Requirements: Exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly. Full‑time outpatient PT with occasional Saturdays. Recent graduates are welcome. Candidates with EPIC experience are preferred.
Job Requirements
Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit (preferred)
Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR) (preferred)
Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (required)
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (preferred)
Current Colorado state licensure as a Physical Therapist (required)
BLS through the American Heart Association (required)
Dry Needling Certification or Education (preferred)
Only required if performing the Dry Needling function
Where You’ll Work CommonSpirit Mountain Region – St. Thomas More Hospital, a 25‑bed critical access hospital in Fremont County, near Canon City. The facility offers 24‑hour emergency and trauma services, inpatient and outpatient care, surgical services, rehabilitation services, cardiopulmonary rehab, sleep studies, infusion center, wound care and a community blood bank. The community enjoys outdoor recreation and a small‑town atmosphere.
Pay Range $33.43 – $52.23 per hour
Bonuses & Relocation Qualified external Physical Therapist applicants are eligible for a $10,000 sign‑on bonus. Depending on your location, you may be eligible for up to $8,000 in relocation assistance.
