As an
HR Business Partner (HRBP) , you will oversee the overall Human Resources function across our two New York City locations — Tribeca and Upper East Side — ensuring an exceptional employee experience and alignment with our operational excellence. Reporting to the
Regional HR Director
and working closely with the
Site Directors , you’ll act as a trusted advisor to leadership and staff, driving people strategies that support both the guest experience and business performance. Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with
New York State and City labor laws , while advising managers and employees on employee relations and implementing AIRE’s global HR policies locally.
Oversee onboarding, training, and talent development programs to ensure successful employee integration and growth.
Partner with site leaders to manage performance, provide feedback frameworks, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Lead the annual performance and development review cycles, including calibration and succession planning, in collaboration with HQ.
Manage compensation and benefits processes, ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness.
Act as a trusted mediator in employee relations cases, promoting a respectful and collaborative workplace.
Supervise payroll and benefits administration in partnership with our external providers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives and employee engagement projects.
Ensure compliance with
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
standards and AIRE’s internal health & safety protocols.
Who You Are:
3–5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in
hospitality, F&B, spa/wellness, or luxury retail or relatedenvironments.
Hands-on, proactive, and people-centered, with a balance between operational agility and strategic vision.
Strong knowledge of
New York employment legislation
and familiarity with payroll, benefits, and compliance requirements.
Proven ability to manage end-to-end HR processes and coach managers with empathy and rigor.
Experience working in a
multi-site or multi-department
environment is a strong plus.
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar) preferred.
Proficiency with
HRIS systems , ideally Workday.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills — a natural connector and culture builder.
