Overview
Our client, a professional services organization, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Administrative Support Specialist to provide critical support across document creation, editing, and day-to-day administrative operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in producing high-quality written materials, and can confidently juggle multiple priorities at once.
Compensation:
$55,000-60,000
Key Responsibilities
Edit, proofread, and format a wide range of professional documents including reports, proposals, presentations, and internal communications.
Assist with drafting and refining written content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in tone and style.
Manage and prioritize multiple administrative tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Provide general administrative support including scheduling, coordination, and document management.
Support ad-hoc projects as needed, often requiring flexibility and quick turnaround.
Maintain organization of digital files and documentation to ensure accessibility and version control.
Collaborate with team members across the organization to ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in an administrative, executive support, or professional services environment.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage competing priorities and remain organized in a deadline‑driven setting.
High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with document management tools is a plus.
Self‑starter with a proactive mindset and willingness to assist wherever needed.
Preferred Attributes
Experience supporting consultants, attorneys, accountants, or other professional services teams.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and shifting workloads.
Sherpa Benefits Works as a full‑time employee (30+ weekly hours, +130 hours per month). Medical plan offered is BCBSNC Blue Options PPO with pre‑taxed premiums and a 90‑day waiting period. Medical, Dental, and Vision plans are available. Sherpa pays a portion of the employee‑only premium for medical.
