Network Communications Engineer

to join a

DoD program

supporting the USMC located in

Quantico, VA . The

Network Communications Engineer

will support our enterprise infrastructure. This role is on‑site supporting a program through 2028. The

Network Communications Engineer

will engineer Cisco/Juniper and VoIP solutions for the Marine Corps Enterprise Network.

Responsibilities

Perform daily engineering responsibilities for Cisco and Juniper equipment on LAN, BAN, and WAN

Support the engineering and design of Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services and integrate new and existing switches, routers and other equipment

Provide Layer 3 capabilities, support TACLANE configurations, and VoSIP

Manage hardware, software, and network communications services, develop multivendor solutions, and develop and update IP schemes and address management

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience with Information Technology with a focus on Networking

Experience designing and engineering advanced network solutions

Experience with Cisco/Juniper equipment, layer 3 networking, VoIP/VoISP

IAT III Certification (SecX, CASP+, CCNP Security, CISSP, CISA, GCED, GCIH)

Must have ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE

Compensation

Salary Range: $110,000-130,000 **depending on experience**
