Position Overview The Customer Service Representative/Receptionist is a key member of our high‑performing team, handling a variety of administrative and customer‑service tasks to support a busy animal hospital.
Key Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service in‑person, over the phone, and during high‑stress situations.
Manage lobby flow, address concerns, calm distressed owners, and schedule appointments.
Handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well‑being.
Assist with medication pickups, inquiries, and provide information about services and products.
Enter and manage data in practice‑management software, including billing and accounts.
Assist with retail sales, weigh pets, process faxes, and maintain records.
Reconcile cash drawer and perform end‑of‑day duties for accurate financial transactions.
Qualifications (Required)
Customer service experience.
Preferred Skills (Nice To Have)
Veterinarian experience.
AviMark EMR system experience.
Schedule
Monday through Saturday, 8:00 am‑6:00 pm.
