Customer Service Representative
PetVet Care Centers is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team.
Overview At PetVet Care Centers, our mission is to improve the lives of animals and people by providing exceptional and compassionate care at every stage. The Customer Service Representative / Receptionist plays a key role in delivering superior care and exceptional service, supporting the hospital’s day‑to‑day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service in‑person, over the phone, and during high‑stress situations.
Manage lobby flow, address concerns, calm distressed owners, and schedule appointments.
Handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well‑being.
Assist with medication pickups, inquiries, and provide information about services and products.
Input and manage data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
Assist with retail sales, weigh pets, process faxes, and maintain records.
Reconcile cash drawer and perform end‑of‑day duties for accurate financial transactions.
Qualifications (Required)
Knowledge of clerical procedures and ability to organize files and records.
Excellent customer service skills, providing courteous and prompt assistance.
Accurate cash handling and cashiering abilities.
Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to work at a keyboard or workstation for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, climbing, and lifting animals up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
Some experience in veterinary medicine preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
Spanish speaking or Korean speaking preferred.
Schedule
Full‑Time, 5 days a week.
