Kelly has a long-term contract Warranty Coordinator position that comes with premium medical benefits options and paid time off. This position requires gas power or power generation experience to manage the allocated equipment-only projects.
The position can be hybrid with expected travel of 20%–25% within the US (once a month meeting in Schenectady).
As Warranty Coordinator, you will be the responsible person in the Americas project organization to monitor and manage all ongoing Warranty Claims and drive them to closure. You will partner with Portfolio Leaders, Project Managers, and Product Directors to provide visibility of Warranty Claim status, associated actions, and timelines for material deliveries or outages. You will suggest resolution steps for disputed Warranty Claims and maintain continuous contact with customers and GE Vernova site teams to monitor closure progress. You will serve as the primary customer contact regarding all warranty claims and facilitate and lead negotiations or deliver status alignment reports.
Roles And Responsibilities
Consolidate all open Warranty Cases across all customer projects: provide visibility on status, actions, next steps, and necessary escalations and drive to closure
Track and categorize all Warranty claims according to status, actions, and customer agreement or dispute
Communicate with customers/EPCs and align on status/interpretation per Warranty Claim
Track Warranty Claim progression with Service team
Develop specialized knowledge in Warranty issues. Serve as best practice/quality resource. Have awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contribute toward strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
Have in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; have working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems and prepare decisions on more complex or costly claims.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Several years of experience in Power Generation/Product Knowledge, ideally in field, engineering, supply chain, or project management adjacent function
