Summary
Provides analysis and recommendations that support the activities of the production planning group in the Sales - Distribution department. Independently develops analytical reports that give insight into vehicle production ordering and sales that support Subaru of America (SOA) decision‑making. Primary Responsibilities
Supports leadership at Subaru of America (SOA) in making decisions based on analysis of inventory, sales, sold orders, and production trends with the appropriate level of the organization (including the Field) and presents recommendations based on that investigation. Collects, researches, and analyzes data on the performance trends of each carline. Uses knowledge and skills to develop raw data into organized reports/dashboards and present this data in a coherent, logical, and insightful manner. Provides vehicle trending analysis on a monthly basis with recommendations to aid Regional Distribution and Zone teams to make decisions on initial Zone level purchase orders. Coordinates with internal SOA departments on new model code set up and maintains areas of the Vehicle Planning System (VPS) relating to Purchase Orders and model year transitions, including model mapping. Prepares and distributes the month‑end executive sales summary (month‑end recap book). The sales summary must be completed in a timely manner and will be used to guide executive decisions. Identifies and collaborates with IT on areas of possible system improvement, problem‑solving, and system re‑design, as needed. Additional Responsibilities
Creates daily sales summary that creates a snapshot into yesterday's activity and how this impacts today's inventory. Creates ad‑hoc analysis and reporting projects using subject matter knowledge and analytical skills, which will support business planning operations. Analyzes and interprets large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data to assemble a clear picture of sales and distribution opportunities. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required 4‑6 years of experience required Strong analytical skills. Willing and able to conduct thorough exploratory interviews with all levels of the organization. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to contend with multiple projects concurrently and manage various responsibilities with extreme time and performance pressures. Proficiency in Excel. Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence and Qlik preferred. Work Environment

The recruiting base salary range for this full‑time position is $70,000‑$84,000 / year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. (Internal Job Grade: P2) Benefits
