Team Leader – Children's & Young Person Support Worker
Position: Team Leader for Children's Residential Care.
Location: Hull
Contract: Full Time
Role Type: Permanent
Working hours per week: 40
Salary: £14.17 - £14.99 per hour

Key responsibilities
Plan team rotas and support the Deputy and Home Manager in meetings and appointments.
Lead by example and support other support workers in their development.
Provide flexible, reliable, and adaptable support to help young people make positive choices.
Work on a rota basis (average 169 hours a month) plus sleep‑ins as required.
Meet the needs of children and young people in line with OFSTED regulations.
Assist the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager in implementing aspects of the Statement of Purpose.
Receive supervision in line with Quality Standards and take responsibility for personal development and training needs.
Carry out other reasonable tasks as directed.
Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager.
Qualifications & Requirements
Must hold a UK driving licence.
Experience as a Children & Young Person support worker.
Ability to lead and train staff.
Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.
Commitment to upholding safety and safeguarding standards.
