Primary Physical Work Address: This is a remote position that is primarily tasked with performing work duties via flex-place (aka telework, work-from-home arrangements) with infrequent on-site visits with client groups, including to the position address at 2829 W Howard Place.

Description of Job: The ISD Division fosters and maintains a culture emphasizing deliberate strategic planning and transparent execution principles on technology investments in order to facilitate discussions on how to maximize resources available on the top priorities. The division is composed of project managers, product owners and analysts that specialize in application and organizational support services that enable change from legislative and strategic projects in the Colorado Department of Revenue Mission Divisions. ISD actively manages this portfolio of projects and systems for the Department of Revenue. The work unit ensures better customer service by providing mechanisms for efficient prioritization and consistent communication.

The typical day as an Executive Assistant: As an Executive Assistant, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative & technical support to the Senior Director and the ISD team
  • Act as a liaison, expediting requests, manage communications, and arrange logistics
  • Provide administrative support for division initiatives (WIGs, KPIs), and coordinate events
  • Oversee critical HR administrative functions, including developing/maintaining the staffing plan and organization chart, and coordinate requisitions
  • Manage the onboarding and off boarding process, assist with background screenings, and support performance management and temporary staffing operations
  • Assist the Senior Director with budget tracking & monitoring
  • Reconcile P-Card purchases, ensuring compliance with purchasing guidelines, preparing financial documentation, and generating regular reports
  • Forecast the division's cost centers

Minimum Qualifications: Experience Only: Six (6) years of professional administrative experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position, which includes responsibility for program support, administrative coordination, policy or procedure implementation, operational analysis, and stakeholder communication. OR Education and Experience: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Finance or a closely related field. AND Two (2) years of professional administrative experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position, which includes responsibility for program support, administrative coordination, policy or procedure implementation, operational analysis, and stakeholder communication.

Conditions of Employment with the CDOR: Employees are in a position of public trust in the performance of their job duties and must operate in a manner that maintains the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and public confidence. As a condition of employment with the CDOR, all personnel must file all necessary Colorado Individual Income Tax (CIIT) returns and pay tax obligations, therefore all employees must undergo a pre-employment evaluation of their tax records/accounts to ensure compliance with this policy.   • Are required to operate a vehicle as part of the position
  • Utilize a State fleet vehicle as a pool vehicle
