We are looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a high-performing team of manufacturing professionals. In this role, you will drive daily operations, support production excellence, and implement continuous improvement across diverse manufacturing activities. Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of manufacturing professionals to meet schedule commitments and achieve customer satisfaction
- Interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints, translating requirements into clear instructions for technicians and mechanics
- Managing day-to-day operations and coordinating cross-functional manufacturing teams
- Driving performance improvements and operational efficiency while supporting evolving customer needs
- Fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, continuous improvement, and employee development
- Monitoring business performance metrics and using data to guide decision-making
- Championing Lean initiatives to strengthen team performance and streamline processes

Basic qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing and/or production environments
- Experience leading a team, either formally or informally
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints
- Interim Secret clearance required prior to start with the ability to obtain a full Secret clearance
Desired skills:
- Experience in component manufacturing, assembly, disassembly, or materials managementpreferably in a leadership role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Experience working with performance metrics and benchmarking
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with skill in managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Knowledge of Lean principles, Kaizen, Kanban, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
- Green Belt Certification (or equivalent continuous improvement training)

- Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
