The Genesis Cancer Care Institute is expanding its services and is in search of a Nurse Practitioner with Oncology experience to enhance our team in Davenport, IA. This role requires flexibility to travel among our clinics in Davenport, Clinton, and Silvis, with an emphasis on high-quality, patient-centered care.
Job Responsibilities:- Deliver comprehensive nursing services focused on oncology patients and their families at our Davenport location.
- Provide consulting and coverage across our Clinton and Silvis clinics as needed.
- Collaborate with a team of Physicians and Nurse Practitioners to ensure coordinated care.
- Utilize innovative treatment technologies and educational resources to enhance patient care.
- Engage in clinical trials, tumor boards, and multi-disciplinary case reviews.
- Participate actively in patient and family education initiatives.
- Maintain a clean malpractice history and adhere to all compliance standards.
- Master s and/or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nursing Program.
- Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Oncology Nurse Practitioner experience (not including RN experience).
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and team collaboration.
- Proficiency in utilizing advanced cancer treatment technologies.
- Valid Nursing licenses for Iowa and Illinois (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA Certification or ability to obtain prior to start.
- Controlled Substance Registration (CSR/CDS) or ability to obtain prior to start.
- Most recent NPDB report within the last 30 to 60 days.
- Clean malpractice history is preferred.
