Practice Setting: Free-Standing Cancer Center
- Reason for Coverage: Loss of provider
- Dates of Coverage: February 1, 2026 September 30, 2026
- Call Schedule: First call for patient phone calls and hospital phone calls Tuesday 4:30pm-8:00 am, Friday 4:30pm-Monday 8:00am. On site inpatient rounding Saturday & Sunday.
- Call Ratio: One rotation every 5-6 weeks, dependent upon staffing
Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult, Geriatric
- 65% benign hematology, 35% malignant oncology, 0% internal medicine
- Number of Physicians in Practice: 8
- How Many APPs Provide Coverage: 4
- Average Number of Patients Per Day - OUTPATIENT: 15
- Average Number of Patients Per Day - HOSPITAL (Call/Rounding): 20
- Clinical Area: Oncology - Outpatient Setting, Oncology - Inpatient Setting
- Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
- Required Duties: Mgmt. of Bone Marrow Transplants, Blood Bank, Orders Tests, Orders Images, Prescribes
