A Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner is needed to join a dynamic team in a cutting-edge healthcare facility for a full-time locum position. Engage in mostly OR duties with opportunities for ICU floor coverage, using your expertise in EVH and first assist. Take part in challenging cases, work with advanced Cerner and Marquet equipment, and cover night and weekend calls.

- Setting: Surgery Center / Inpatient
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, plus nights and weekend calls (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM). Weekend call from Friday 6:00 PM through Monday 6:30 AM.
- Patient Population: Adult
- Location: Hershey, PA
- Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates

- Flexible scheduling
- Provide specialized cardiovascular care, including OR first assistance and EVH
- Engage in scheduled clinic hours and manage weekend call coverage
- Address patient encounters, with 3-4 per shift
- Must hold BLS and ACLS certifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular specialty
- Previous experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Ability to work three 12-hour shifts and manage weekend/night calls
- Regular shifts: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Night calls: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (every 5 weekends)
- Weekend on-call: Friday 6:00 PM through Monday 6:30 AM
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure environment
- Proficient in using medical equipment like Marquet and surgical techniques such as first assist and EVH
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
