Sunrise Children s Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our esteemed Level III NICU team. Position Overview:
As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, you will be integral to providing expert, patient-centered care in a high-acuity neonatal setting. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of neonatologists and pediatric subspecialists in a busy 72-bed NICU dedicated to the most vulnerable newborns, including extremely low birth weight infants.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a team of 13 neonatologists and 12 advanced practice providers to deliver comprehensive neonatal care.
  • Manage complex and critically ill neonates, including those requiring advanced interventions such as extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), high-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide (iNO), and therapeutic cooling for hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE).
  • Participate actively in neonatal resuscitation and transport efforts, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
  • Utilize advanced neonatal technologies and procedures to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Work closely with pediatric subspecialists including cardiovascular surgeons to provide integrated, multidisciplinary care.
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, high-quality standards, and compassionate care within the NICU and broader pediatric hospital ecosystem.

Qualifications:
  • Current Board Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Nevada or the ability to obtain one prior to employment.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Level III NICU setting preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills in neonatal resuscitation, ventilator management, and neonatal emergencies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to handle high-acuity cases with attention to detail and compassionate care.
