An Ohio hospital system is seeking an experienced PA/NP to provide inpatient/outpatient care for Cardiothoracic Surgery patients on a locum tenens basis. We're offering $120/hr, plus $235/night when on-call. Complimentary malpractice coverage provided, as well as travel reimbursement.
- Dates of Coverage: 10 days/month covering over two weekend. January-April then TBD
- Practice Setting: Clinic Hours, Inpatient, Floor, Post-Op, and ICU coverage
- Schedule (Shifts/Hours): 8:00 -4:00 M-F, plus night call 4pm-8am
- Call Schedule: 10 days of call/month
- Call Ratio: 1:3
- Average Number of Patients Per Day: 12
- Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
- Trauma Level/Designation: Level 1
- Will APP be Working Autonomously: Yes
- Supervising Physician Present During Assignment: Physician will round daily and be available 24/7 by phone
- Required Duties: Suture Removal, Diagnose Illnesses, Treat Illnesses, Order Tests, Interpret Tests, Write Prescriptions, Coordination of Care, Rounding, Pre-Op Physical Exams
- Patient Age Demographic: (Adolescent, Child, Adult, Geriatric): Adult/geriatric
- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days if file is clean. will try to expedite
An Ohio License or willingness to obtain is required. Board Certification, as well as experience within inpatient settings such as ICU required. BLS/ACLS required.
