Position: Roofing Service Technician – Traveling (Continental US) – Hustad Companies, Inc.
Job Description We are searching for an experienced Roofing Service Technician/Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing service work on multifamily and commercial properties and conducting complete roof inspections, including steep slope roofs.
Key Responsibilities
Perform necessary repairs and maintenance on roofing systems.
Conduct thorough roof inspections to identify leaks and common deficiencies.
Set up and climb ladders (up to 40 ft) safely; familiarity with operating man lifts is appreciated.
Travel throughout the United States approximately 85% of the time; preferably residing within 30 miles of a major airport.
Utilize roofing software applications (experience with CenterPoint, FCS, etc. is a plus).
Maintain effective communication with clients and team members through email, texts, phone calls, and apps.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of field experience in Roofing; exterior repairs such as siding, gutters, windows, and doors are preferred.
Strong background in roof maintenance, general repair, and construction.
Valid Driver's License required.
Proficient with smartphones and operational software; generally tech‑savvy with email and the internet.
Bilingual candidates encouraged; fluency in English required.
GED or high school diploma preferred.
Ability to read and write proficiently required.
