Seeking experienced selectors for day shift.
Overview Mr Greens has proudly grown into one of the largest privately‑owned produce distributors in Texas. With deliveries 365 days a year, 7 days a week, and multiple runs per day, Mr Greens has set the gold standard for service. Mr Greens serves a large variety of clients, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, grocery stores, and retail outlets.
Summary High‑motivated and dedicated selectors who can work individually selecting full‑case grocery, frozen, and/or perishable products from warehouse pick slots using a pallet jack or other equipment. Fit items on a pallet, wrap bundles, transport pallets to the shipping dock, and in some cases load them onto a truck for delivery. All employees are expected to make safety their top priority.
Accountabilities
Perform general physical activities: load, unload, sort and move products and materials by hand or using basic material‑handling equipment.
Perform tasks in multi‑temperature environments.
Select merchandise for shipment and stack on pallet neatly using a pallet jack or forklift.
Use a pick sheet to find individual items inside the warehouse.
Breakdown and restack merchandise from pallets.
Verify the quantity of the products.
Ensure items are picked accurately and safely to prevent damage.
Keep warehouse tidy by picking up scrap wood, paper, plastic wrappers, and broken pallets.
Maintain a food‑safe environment.
Report any damaged equipment to shift supervisor or maintenance staff.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required to be punctual.
Forklift/pallet jack experience: 1 year.
Must pass a drug test.
Available to work on weekends.
Physical Demands / Work Environment
Frequent walking, kneeling, standing, squatting, bending, reaching overhead, and lifting 50+ lbs.
