Work Conditions
Exposure to varying weather while removing trash and other outside tasks.
In‑store temperatures from 36°F to 90°F+.
Sudden temperature changes.
Food odors and cornmeal dust.
Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
Hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F.
Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Sensing
Talking and hearing on telephone.
Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
Depth perception.
Ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.
Temperaments The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, handle stress, meet quality standards, analyze data, and make judgments.
Physical Requirements Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, hand tasks, use of machines and tools.
Key details:
Standing work most tasks performed from standing position.
Walking short distances.
Standing surfaces ceramic tile or linoleum.
Lifting bulk product deliveries up to 50 lbs.
Case and product handling up to 3'x1.5'.
Large cans (3 lb 7 oz) to storage shelves.
Pizza sauce 30 lb moved from storage to front.
Trays of dough ~12 lb, carried three at a time over short distances.
Pushing trays on dollies requires up to 7.5 lbs force.
Occasional ladder or stairs for maintenance.
Frequent forward bending and reaching above 72 in.
Hand coordination for dough shaping, peel use, pizza cutter.
Use of pens, computers, telephones, calculators.
