Position Summary Centralized scheduling for the NCH cardiologists, APPs and surgeons, including answering incoming patient and referring office calls, electronic referral processing, clinical workload requests, following up on voicemails, data entry of single to multiple appointments utilizing multiple screens and modules to coordinate with acute and ambulatory modules, EMR creation, obtaining patient demographics and instructing patients prior to procedures according to guidelines.
Responsibilities
Centralized scheduling for the NCH cardiologists, APPs and surgeons.
Answer incoming patient and referring office calls.
Process electronic referrals.
Handle clinical workload requests.
Follow up on voicemails.
Enter data of single to multiple appointments utilizing multiple screens and modules to coordinate with acute and ambulatory modules.
Create EMRs.
Obtain patient demographics and instruct patients prior to procedures according to guidelines.
Work Schedule 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Hours are 8 am until 5 pm.
Education and Experience High School diploma required. Associate degree from an accredited university/college and/or hospital, medical office, clinic, or hospital business operations experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification None required.
