Position Highlights Avera Heart Hospital is looking for a professional to manage our switchboard—answering and directing all incoming calls promptly, recording and entering messages accurately, and maintaining patient confidentiality in all aspects of a clinic setting. Strong customer‑service skills, excellent communication, and respect for confidentiality are essential.
Position Summary Answer and direct all incoming phone calls in a timely manner. Record and enter messages in an accurate format to the provider. Maintain patient confidentiality in all aspects of a clinic setting. Display strong customer service relations, communication and confidentiality.
Work Schedule Forty hours per week, Monday through Friday. The hours per day may vary in order to accommodate the census needs of the facility.
Education & Experience High school graduate or equivalent. Previous switchboard and/or medical scheduling experience preferred. Computer skills essential.
Licensure & Certification None required.
