Job Description Initial Position: General Helper

Qualified Position: Palletizer/Unitizer Operator, Shipper Loader, Biller/Receiver

Pay Rate $25.01/hr during probationary period, then $26.71–27.74/hr once qualified

Category/Shift Hourly Full‑Time (Monday‑Friday)

2nd Shift (3:00 pm–11:00 pm)

3rd Shift (11:00 pm–7:00 am)

The Job You Will Perform

Operate lift trucks in a safe and effective manner

Ensure correct product is sent through the appropriate production line

Ensure correct strapping patterns for product, and that loads are strapped with proper dunnage according to instructions and customer‑specific requests

Monitor loads and notify supervisor regarding any product issues

Monitor take‑off line following strapping process, and load material onto designated trucks, requiring accurate record of load tallies

Transport product to the appropriate areas of the warehouse as needed

Load warehoused product from the warehouse to the loading dock, as well as receive product from incoming trucks, sign for receipt, and transport to the designated department

Turn in proper paperwork to the shipping office

Rotate as needed between strapper position, take‑off line lift truck and floor driver lift truck operation procedures

Sweep trailers and floor areas

Complete a daily safety checklist, change propane tanks, and check the fluids and air filters on the lift truck

Ability to understand and follow general instructions as well as customer‑specific requirements

Ability to process paperwork accurately

Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
