Houston 40 Drug - Customer Service Rep - Part-Time
Join H‑E‑B’s Houston 40 Drug department as a part‑time Customer Service Representative. Bring energy, customer service skills, and a passion for people to help our customers feel welcome while maintaining a well‑stocked, safe, and sanitary department.
Responsibilities
Stock and rotate products daily, maintaining department and safety/sanitation standards.
Assist with inventory control, loading/unloading product, and preparing back‑area for night crew and incoming trucks.
Organize merchandise on pallets and build/take down store displays.
Provide superior customer service, answer product questions, and help customers locate merchandise.
Use suggestive selling techniques and merchandise product effectively to support department sales.
Follow food safety, sanitizing, and equipment operational procedures.
Qualifications & Background
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
Completion of Company Orientation and Safety Training upon hire.
Minimum age 18.
Physical & Work Requirements
Ability to lift 30–65 lbs, depending on department.
Stand, walk, reach, and perform fine motor tasks throughout an 8‑hour shift.
Work in cold, wet, and noisy conditions as required.
Perform job duties specific to Beauty, Drugstore / General Merchandise, Grocery, Texas Backyard, and Healthy Living departments (details available upon request).
