Job Description The world’s leader in innovative, energy solutions, Solar Turbines, is looking for experienced Inspectors to manage quality control processes at our Broken Arrow, or Claremore, facility. The Inspector will perform in‑depth analysis and documentation using vernier, dial and digital calipers, surface plates, micrometers, and gages. The primary responsibility is managing the inspections of diaphragms, veins, sand plates, nozzle casings, nozzle support rings and various other critical engine components.
Technical Skills
Vernier, dial & digital calipers
Surface plates
Gage blocks & length standards
Bore gages (all types)
Tube, blade, groove and depth micrometers
Thread plug gages, ring gages
Height gages
Radius gages
Conduct deburr checks
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
1-3 years of experience with quality assurance, mechanical inspection or machining in a precision manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or willingness to learn Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) operations.
Proficient geometry and trigonometry skills.
Summary Pay Range $23.53 - $35.29 per hour
