Responsibilities
Operate all equipment
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler
Prepare product
Receive and process telephone orders
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily
Comprehend and give correct written instructions
Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Make correct monetary change
Take and process orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to perform rapid and accurate movements
Operate all store equipment safely
Ensure adherence to policy, procedures, standards, and safety protocols
Maintain store cleanliness and appearance
Handle staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, scheduling, marketing, and profitability
Promote excellent customer service, attendance, punctuality, and transportation to/from work
Support team development and motivation
Physical Requirements
Standing: most tasks performed from a standing position; ability to stand 45 minutes at a time.
Walking: short distances for short durations.
Lifting: move bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds, stack onto shelves up to 8 ft high.
Carrying: large cans (~3 lb), pizza sauce (~30 lb), trays of dough (~12 lb each).
Pushing/Pulling: move trays on dollies; force up to 7.5 lb.
Climbing: navigate stairs or climb ladders to change prices, wash walls, perform maintenance.
Stooping/Bending: forward bending at pizza assembly station and front counter for 30–45 s repeatedly.
Crouching/Squatting: occasional to stock shelves and clean low areas.
Reaching: up, down, forward continuously.
Hand Tasks: eye-hand coordination for dough shaping and frequent use of forearms and wrists.
