Production Operator – Niagara Bottling, RIALTO, CA

Essential Functions
Maintain overall production line operations, including starting and stopping equipment (palletizers, carton makers, carton sealers, drop packers, injection, etc.).
Make minor adjustments to production equipment as directed; no mechanical work without approval.
Accurately complete and update information forms and logs (Machine Report, Quality Report, Downtime Report, Carton Top Load Report).
Recognize unsafe conditions and actions, following plant safety rules, safe lifting practices, and safe machine operations; use personal protective equipment where required.
Maintain general housekeeping in all production areas, including break rooms and rest rooms; bale plastic, cardboard and contaminated bottles and grind bottles as needed.
Ensure adequate quantities of raw materials (caps, labels, cartons, trays, pallet wraps, glue, slip sheets, etc.) to keep equipment running smoothly.
Maintain quality standards, accurately filling out hourly inspection sheets and reporting all quality defects immediately.
Work in multiple areas of production with minimal supervision, performing relief duties when required.
Troubleshoot minor production equipment issues and collaborate with maintenance as necessary.
Use computer systems such as Oracle/MES or the current order management system.
Understand line flow and manufacturing processes to maximize throughput.
Communicate issues clearly and concisely.
Maintain regular, predictable attendance.
Work 12‑hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule.
Duties may change at any time with or without notice.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
2 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
2 years experience in a production operator role.
No required experience managing people or projects.
Experience operating multiple manufacturing machines.
Preferred Qualifications:
4 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
4 years experience in a production operator role.
2 years experience managing people or projects.

Education
Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred: Associate’s Degree.
Compensation Hourly: $20.01 – $27.02 per hour.
