Role Overview
As a Mechanical Installation Service Technician, you will coordinate the installation, relocation, de‑installation, and service upgrades of high‑value complex equipment in hospitals, universities, federal buildings, and other facilities. You will work with modalities such as AXA, AXD, CT, MR, NM and related technical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Up to 100% travel throughout the country.
Maintain the integrity of confidential information.
Build and maintain customer relationships, complying with PROBO SOP, policy, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
Follow OSHA safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
Provide safe and timely installation to the customer.
Assist the Team Leader with documentation, quality, and compliance per PROBO SOP and ISO 9001:2008.
Coordinate suppliers and manage on‑site deliveries of equipment.
Qualifications Required:
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Effective verbal communication skills.
Basic math skills (arithmetic, rate, ratio, graph interpretation).
Knowledge of metric/standard measurement and leveling methods.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Preferred:
High School Diploma/GED, Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent, or minimum 2 years related experience.
Travel Requirements The position requires travel up to 100% of the time.
Work Environment Monitor field safety and environmental conditions, report deficiencies per PROBO Safety Manual. Use both hands for dexterity, hand/eye coordination, ladder work, and lift 75 lbs of cables or equipment.
