Work Study Student Assistant / Accommodations and Access-Testing Center Georgia Southwestern State University, a comprehensive state university within the University System of Georgia, invites students to join their Office of Accommodations and Access/Testing Center. The role supports testing services and accommodates students’ diverse learning needs.

Job Summary As a Work Study Student Assistant, you will proctor exams, manage test materials, interact with students, and assist with general office duties. The position requires flexibility with class schedules, politeness toward colleagues and students, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Be available for work times that align with class schedules.

Assist with photocopies and filing of documents.

Interact courteously with students.

Proctor tests and set up classrooms for testing sessions.

Update forms and create or revise flyers as needed.

Manage office mail and secure sensitive information.

Multi-task and prioritize duties efficiently.

Notify the office promptly if you cannot attend to arrange alternatives.

Qualifications

Exceptional written and spoken communication skills.

Basic knowledge of computer and software programs.

Experience or comfort handling sensitive and personal information.
