Wallwork Truck Center is currently hiring for a Warehouse associate to join our team Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm ($18-$20/hr).
The Warehouse position is responsible for verifying and stocking incoming parts and shipments into the warehouse and preparing parts for delivery. This position is also responsible for delivery of parts to the various business locations in the area.
Education and/or years’ experience required:
H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities:
Must possess general math skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Basic computer skills
Must have the ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Must be able to work independently as well as be a team player in the department
Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable):
No supervisory responsibilities required with this position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITES
Local delivery of parts.
Verify all incoming and outgoing shipments.
Safely and properly prepare parts for deliveries.
Keep company vehicle clean and maintained.
Complete vehicle safety checks per Company policy and operate the vehicle within safety guidelines; immediately report any safety concerns or Company Policy violations to management.
Verify inventory with paperwork.
Load and unload part orders.
Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming parts.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable).
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending meetings, educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, secure, and safe at all times.
Perform Wallwork Inc.-wide duties as requested by the designated supervisor.
Adhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendance.
Uphold Wallwork Inc. ethical standards and demonstrate the behavioral and service expectations as defined in our policies and procedures.
