The Restaurant Manager will support the following food and beverage outlets within the hotel operated by Hyatt which will include: Lola Rose, Grand Mezze— three‑meal restaurant & lounge In‑Room Dining— Offering breakfast, lunch & dinner Responsible for the short‑ and long‑term planning of the restaurant Ensure effective hiring, training, development and promotion of team Lead and coach team towards achieving exceptional guest services and colleague satisfaction results Full understanding of Colleague engagement Responsible for maintaining a high energy, positive, professional appearance Plan, coordinate & manage special events and holiday functions Ability to take the initiative to run the outlets as a free‑standing entity This is an exempt (salaried) role. The budgeted salary range for this position is $60,100 to $87,000 . Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors including experience and education. A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment Refined written and verbal communication skills A desire to exceed guest expectations Full time management position that requires full flexibility, ability to work weekends and holidays and a varied schedule Previous Assistant Restaurant Manager or Assistant Food & Beverage Manager or supervisory experience preferred Proficient computer knowledge, including working knowledge of point of sales systems Highly detail oriented and organized, with strong leadership skills and solid food and beverage knowledge Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, and effective in providing exceptional customer service Why work for Thompson Palm Springs?
