Job Details Job Title: Human Resources Generalist Location: Lafayette, LA (On‑Site, no remote option) Department: Corporate / Administrative & Support FLSA Status: Exempt Employment Type: Full‑time Seniority Level: Entry level Industry: Hospitals and Health Care Job Function: Human Resources Responsibilities Collaborate with management and Corporate HR to minimize legal exposure and enhance performance by anticipating issues, advising on risks, and recommending improvements. Serve as a point of contact for employee relations, including conflict resolution, workplace investigations, and guidance on employment and corrective action. Respond to HR questions from managers and employees regarding performance, discipline, termination, etc., ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures. Report compliance concerns and work through proper resolution. Assist with recruiting and onboarding new hires for operations and support divisions. Maintain data integrity for EEO statistics, affirmative action, retention, employment surveys, staffing, and other HR metrics. Administer and stay current on Acadian’s leave programs and policies in line with federal, state, and accommodation leave laws. Support and disseminate Corporate HR department initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field. Minimum 2 years of HR experience. Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Quarterly travel to assigned areas as required. Knowledge & Skills Expert knowledge of federal and state employment laws and the ability to interpret and apply these requirements to all work. Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to organize and explain ideas clearly and convey legal requirements and policies to management and employees. Superior customer‑service orientation.
