Pharmacy Technician - IV Experience | Evening Shift

Seeking experienced IV Pharmacy Technician to join our team on the PM shift.
Skilled IV techs are hard to find — and we’re ready to move quickly for the right candidate.

Responsibilities Accurately compound IV medications under IV hood, including STAT and urgent orders Ensure pharmacist pre-check prior to mixing Assist with IV hood maintenance, environmental monitoring, and documentation per USP 797/800 Maintain strict cleanliness and compliance standards Work with compliance staff to ensure HIPAA compliance Order medications and manage inventory for sterile and non-sterile compounding Properly dispose of expired products Support projects, software training, and operational initiatives as needed
Qualifications Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) Minimum 2 years of IV / sterile compounding experience Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician license Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to communicate clearly and professionally Comfortable working independently while collaborating with pharmacists and compliance staff
Required Skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Dependable and professional Comfortable in a fast-paced PM environment Solid sterile compounding skills
Pay range and compensation package Full-time with benefits - competitive hourly pay rate based on experience
Schedule Primary shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Rotating weekends & holidays Weekend/holiday shifts are typically 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
