Provide specialized nursing care in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting, delivering critical support to newborn patients requiring intensive medical attention. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment equipped with advanced neonatal life support technology. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and care for neonates utilizing equipment such as nasal cannulas, bubble CPAP, ventilators, oscillators, IV pumps, NIRS, warmers, and isolettes. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using electronic health record systems. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, LVNs, PCTs, and nurse externs to provide comprehensive patient care. Adapt to flexible scheduling including 3 twelve-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays. Participate in unit-specific protocols and assist with floating assignments to PICU, Pediatrics, and CICU as required. Desired Experience: Valid RN licensure with NICU nursing experience. Proficiency with neonatal critical care equipment. Ability to maintain a favorable patient ratio, often from 1:1 up to 1:4. Familiarity with electronic documentation systems such as CPN and Meditech. Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills essential for high-acuity care.
