Unit Manager - Registered Nurse (Jackson, MI)
Join our EPIC team at Cascade Senior Care Center! The Unit Manager is a registered nurse responsible for coordinating clinical care of an assigned unit in our 24‑hour operation, ensuring consistent, high‑quality care for all residents.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and direct the nursing team, assigning tasks and providing training and evaluations.
Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
Instruct team on skilled care processes and serve as the resource for clinical issues.
Ensure completion of required reports (infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality‑management, etc.).
Promote hospitality and excellent customer service, fostering a positive, healing environment.
Shift Coverage
First Shift - Days (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), including rotating weekends and holidays.
Must hold current RN license in Michigan and CPR‑BLS certification.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with at least 2 years of related experience.
Current Registered Nurse license in Michigan and current CPR‑BLS certification.
Strong analytical abilities to develop personalized care plans and solve complex problems.
Excellent customer‑service skills and a commitment to delivering passionate, innovative care.
