Unit Manager – RN Registered Nurse
Position at NexCare WellBridge Senior Living located in Cascade Senior Care Center. The Unit Manager is a registered nurse responsible for coordinating the clinical care of an assigned unit within the center’s 24‑hour operation and ensuring consistent, quality care for all residents.
Responsibilities
Supervise the nursing team, give direction and assignments, offer training, and contribute to recognition and evaluations.
Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
Instruct the team regarding the skilled care process and function as a resource person for clinical issues.
Ensure the completion of requested reports (infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management, etc.).
Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in every daily interaction with guests, families, and visitors, fostering a positive, healthy environment.
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with at least 2 years of related experience.
Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Michigan and current CPR‑BLS certification.
High level of analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well‑being.
Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, innovative care.
Team player dedicated to supporting team members and getting the job done.
