Summary Performs various egg warehouse labor tasks by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepares and loads product for export
Loads and unloads packaging materials
Maintains the warehouse
Cleans some parts of the office
Operates a forklift and electric jack

Education and/or Experience High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills Ability to add and subtract two‑digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's; ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one‑or two‑step instructions; ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must be able to obtain a forklift license.
Physical Demands The employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Work Environment Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions; occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration; noise level is usually loud.
