Bilingual Lab Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Perform insurance verification and manage related documentation.
  • Handle referrals efficiently and accurately.
  • Engage in both front and back office tasks, gaining a wide range of hands-on experience.
  • Utilize Athena EMR for patient data management.
  • Operate lab instrumentation and ensure proper sterilization procedures are followed.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in Athena EMR system.
  • Fluency in Spanish, including the ability to read, write, and speak.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with adult patients.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience with Nextgen software is advantageous.
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Work Environment:

You will be working in a fast-paced, high-volume setting with a diverse patient population, predominantly Spanish-speaking. Flexibility is required as you may need to work at either the Van Nuys or Plaza locations. Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Los Angeles, CA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
