Responsibilities

Perform insurance verification and manage related documentation.

Handle referrals efficiently and accurately.

Engage in both front and back office tasks, gaining a wide range of hands-on experience.

Utilize Athena EMR for patient data management.

Operate lab instrumentation and ensure proper sterilization procedures are followed.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in Athena EMR system.

Fluency in Spanish, including the ability to read, write, and speak.

Strong administrative skills.

Ability to work effectively with adult patients.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with Nextgen software is advantageous.

Capacity to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

Work Environment You will be working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting with a diverse patient population, predominantly Spanish‑speaking. Flexibility is required as you may need to work at either the Van Nuys or Plaza locations. This role offers the opportunity to gain invaluable experience and skills that will serve you throughout your healthcare career.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Los Angeles, CA.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
