Job Details Summary:

Provides a neat, clean and organized Locker Room environment while providing services offered to members and their guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following;

Prepares Locker Room for full service each morning.

Ensures that the Locker Room is neat and clean.

Provides for the needs of members and guests.

Keeps bathroom, showers and sinks sanitary and clean at all times.

Maintains amenities and toiletry dispensers to ensure they are full.

Ensures the availability of towels in shower and sink areas.

Monitors and enforces the Locker Room policies.

Services golf and non-golf shoes for golf membership and their guests.

Returns cleaned shoes to assigned locker/neatly place for pick up.

Drops off dirty linens and pick-ups clean linens in the laundry area.

Maintains bulletin boards with current and relevant information.

Communicates with members, co-workers, management and guests in a courteous and professional manner.

Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.

Exhibits and maintains a professional demeanor to reflect a positive image of Mizner Country Club.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Professional Golf Team.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Requires excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work with all cleaning products necessary to maintain Locker Rooms.

Ability to verbally communicate well in English and in writing.

Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.

Ability to interact professionally and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, co-workers and members.

Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast‑paced environment.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Specific hearing abilities required by this job include wearing a surveillance earpiece head set connected to radio. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch.

Qualifications Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to communicate well in English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to members, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
