Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, compassionate, and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our RFPT team. This entry‑level, Full time, on‑site role plays a vital part in ensuring smooth daily operations by welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling phone calls and inquiries. The Front Desk Receptionist will provide excellent customer service while also supporting clinical and administrative staff by assisting with basic patient needs, helping coordinate care, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and assisting therapists as needed with setup and organization. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, dependable, able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment, and committed to creating a positive experience for every patient.
Responsibilities
Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone
Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently
Manage keeping the schedule full
Take and process payments
Maintain patient records and perform administrative tasks
Follow office procedures, instructions, and protocols
Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and staff
Multitask in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining accuracy
Qualifications & Requirements
Must be
18 years or older
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of customer service experience
Medical office or call center experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to follow instructions and established protocols
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work efficiently
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable scheduling patients in person and over the phone
Comfortable taking and processing payments
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems preferred
