Purpose of Position Stagehand position involving extensive set-up, takedown, and operation of stage equipment for a variety of university events.
Duties & Responsibilities
Help load and unload show equipment from trucks
Assist with the setup and takedown of stage gear for numerous kinds of events
Work hands‑on with lights, sound, props, scenery, and special effects
Able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
Reliable and on time
Work well with others and follow instructions while working in a team
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willing to ask questions and learn
Able to follow directions and stay focused
Comfortable working nights and weekends, as needed
No experience necessary!
Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.
