Overview Mistras Group is seeking a Level II PAUT Technician / EPRI professional to work full‑time in Jacksonville, FL. The role requires field duties, outdoor work, and the ability to manage PAUT equipment and data.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and calibrate PAUT equipment.
Conduct PAUT tests using appropriate NDT techniques.
Interpret, evaluate, and document results accurately.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of PAUT scope, limitations, codes, standards, and contractual documents.
Direct Level I personnel and trainees with minimal supervision.
Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Obtain and analyze information skillfully and present numerical data effectively.
Minimum Qualifications
Level II PAUT (Phased Array Ultrasound Testing) certification with EPRI experience.
High school graduate or GED; bachelor’s or higher degree is an asset.
Valid first‑aid, CPR, and AED certifications at hire or within 60 days thereafter.
Valid driver’s license with no restrictions in the state of primary residence.
Current TWIC.
Proficient use of technology, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and online communication platforms.
Working Conditions
Field duties require outdoor work in a plant atmosphere.
Interaction with crew employees, supervisors, and clients.
Operation in plant/shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels.
Physical fitness and ability to carry 50 lbs frequently for radiography work.
Wear safety equipment as required by the safety department.
May travel to multiple job sites in a day and tolerate climate changes.
Periodic out‑of‑town travel may be required.
