DEPARTMENT:
MAINTENANCE
Schedule:
Rotational schedule with occasional overtime.
Environment:
Industrial, non-climate controlled setting.
Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose and perform advanced electric and electronic repairs, replacements and upgrades.
Follow up repairs ensuring work effectiveness.
Inspect electric and electronic equipment according to maintenance plans.
Make complex failure analysis, establishing root causes and taking actions to avoid repetitions.
Perform reviews of emergency groups' repairs and failure analysis.
Carry out analysis and proposal of machine and equipment upgrades or replacements.
Develop basic PLC programs and software.
Interpret electrical drawings.
Verify correct functioning of tools, instruments and accessories checking they fulfill specifications.
Develop and test preventive maintenance plans.
Plan corrective actions for scheduled or unscheduled shutdowns based on inspections or problems diagnosed.
Guarantee availability of resources, ensuring a suitable minimum stock and definition of required information on maintenance systems.
Update information in maintenance systems and perform maintenance reports.
Other duties as required or assigned.
Strongly Preferred
Experience working in an industrial environment.
Experience with industrial equipment handling voltage up to 480V.
Experience with PLC logic (reading & interpreting).
LOTO.
Understands electrical schematics.
Safety mindset.
Experience
Manufacturing: 3 years (Preferred).
